Rafah governorate, which is 700 meters
away from the Green Line, and from the
eastern borders of Rafah.
This Activity has

"Deputy Director-General of PARC", the

today the 35th Anniversary of Earth Day,
as it doing this every year, with

real basis of the development work in
order to preserve the land and confronting
the Israeli occupation and his
encroachments on the agricultural lands,
through revitalizing it and planting
trees.
Mr. Aashoor
believes that it is not enough to revive
the anniversary by chanting and
celebrations, but there is a strong need
to work and find developmental programs to
keep on.
Referring back to
the anniversary of Earth Day, he mentioned
the martyrs of Land, Land of Palestine,
pointing out that the number of martyrs
over the years of Palestinian struggle
when compared to the number of Palestine's
population, it will be sufficient for the
liberation of ten occupied countries.
He also called for
the necessity to restore national unity in
Palestine, and work together under a
unified motto, and a unified national
program.
During this
activity, participants chanted special
chants to the land, denouncing the
occupation, his destruction policy, land
dredging, and land confiscation.
The participants
also planted olive trees in the
agricultural land in that area which is
700 meters away from the borderline.
